Firefighters responded to a fire, which was
nearly extinguished by three sprinklers involving clothes
carts and an overhead bag line used to convey laundry. Firefighters
mopped up scattered hotspots with a 1 _ inch handline. Chief
Inspector, Jeffery L. Brohmer, La Crosse Fire Department,
said “without the fire sprinkler system, the fire would
have spread rapidly, endangering employees and the building.”
