Employees cleaning two air compressor vats on the second floor noticed smoke
coming from a suspected compressor electrical fire. They evacuated the building
and called the fire department. In the interim, a sprinkler system activated
and held the fire at bay until firefighters arrived. No one was injured and damage
estimates were $250,000.
