Firefighters responded to a call at a uniform company in Franklin on a Saturday morning. Fire crews made entry from the back of the building and found a fire in the approximate center of the warehouse section of the building. The fire was controlled by one fire sprinkler.

Fire crews extinguished the remainder of the fire and removed the affected storage bins that contained burned material that appeared to be wet mop heads and other cleaning materials, Franklin Fire Department Fire Inspector Gordon Jepsen said. No immediate source of heat was determined.

"Had the building not been protected by fire sprinklers and an alarm notifying us that a sprinkler activated, we may have never known there was a fire in the building," Jepsen said.
